赵国屏:男,1948年出生。分子微生物学家。1982年毕业于复旦大学生物系微生物学专业,获科学学士学位。1983年,作为CUSBEA研究生赴美国普度大学生物化学系学习,1990年获博士学位。2005年,当选为中国科学院院士。先后获国家自然科学二等奖、国家科技进步二等奖、何梁何利科技进步奖以及省部级奖多项。
中国科学院上海生命科学研究院植物生理生态研究所研究员,国家人类基因组南方研究中心执行主任,生物芯片上海国家工程研究中心主任,复旦大学生命学院微生物与微生物工程系主任(兼职),香港中文大学医学院微生物系讲座教授(兼职)。中国微生物学会理事长、中国生物工程学会理事,上海生物工程学会理事长,上海市科协委员、浦东新区科协副主席。
长期从事微生物生理生化、代谢调控及酶作用机理的研究[1、2]。领导建立基因组和功能基因组学研究平台[3],参与人类疾病基因组[4、5]和家蚕基因组[6]工作。启动中国微生物基因组测序工作并主持若干重要微生物的基因组和功能基因组研究[7、8、9、10、11、12、13]。近年来,开创微生物代谢酶乙酰化调控研究领域[14],整合分子遗传学、代谢组、蛋白质组与结构生物学的技术与知识,开展微生物系统生物学和合成生物学研究。目前,主要从事放线菌分子生理和病理[15]以及微生物泛基因组与元基因组[16]的研究和开发工作。
